Fan-made guide · Updated for build 0.2
Just want to reach Day 2?
Use this spoiler-light route if this is your first playthrough and you mainly want to continue the regular story.
Opening
Help Pierrot. Intervene or yell at the man to remain on the regular story path.
Bandage
Choose based on the interaction you want. Offering a bandage is remembered for later Pierrot content but is not a standalone ending choice.
Blackout
Knife or lights are both valid. Picking up the knife is remembered later.
Pink Ticket
Check your current route. The ticket can affect later interactions, but the important Day 1 ending branch begins earlier.
Food
Save before this choice if you want to compare later variations. Buying food is remembered later.
Circus
Finish the Day 1 circus sequence and continue into Day 2.
The opening confrontation is the major ending fork.
Choose Do nothing only if you intentionally want to see the current Missing ending path.

Day 1 at a glance
01 — Help Pierrot or Do Nothing?
Want to continue the regular story? Help Pierrot.
Intervene and Yell at the man both continue the regular Day 1 path. Do nothing starts the current Missing ending path.
The first confrontation contains the most important Day 1 ending fork.
Can I recover? There is no confirmed later Day 1 choice that leaves this ending path. Reload a save from before the confrontation if you want to return to the regular path.
02 — First Pierrot Interaction
Want more Pierrot-related details?
Choices such as offering the bandage are remembered later, but they are not currently separate finished Pierrot endings.
After the confrontation, Day 1 begins establishing the first Pierrot-related details that later scenes can reference. Not every Pierrot choice creates a separate route or ending — some are remembered details rather than major progression branches.
03 — Should You Offer Pierrot a Bandage?
If you want the later bandage-related Pierrot details, offer it.
This choice is remembered later, but it does not currently determine an ending by itself.
This is the first Pierrot choice that can come up again later.
Does the bandage matter?
Yes for later Pierrot content. No as a standalone ending trigger.
04 — Pick Up the Knife or Turn On the Lights?
There is no confirmed “best” choice here.
Picking up the knife is remembered and can be referenced later. Turning on the lights continues without it.
During the blackout, you can turn on the lights or pick up a knife.
Is there a best choice?
There is no confirmed best choice here. Picking up the knife can come up again later.
05 — Should You Take the Pink Ticket?
The Pink Ticket is not the only thing deciding your Day 1 ending.
Your earlier opening choice matters: taking the ticket affects later interactions, but it does not replace the route you are already on.
The Pink Ticket can affect later content, but it should not be treated as an isolated ending switch. Your earlier Day 1 choices — especially the opening confrontation — decide the route you are already carrying into this scene.
Your opening path: Regular story
Taking the Pink Ticket adds ticket-related later interactions.
Your opening path: Missing
Your run is already on the Missing ending path because of the opening confrontation.
Can I get the same Pink Ticket later?
This guide does not currently confirm another opportunity to take this same ticket.
06 — Does the Food Choice Matter?
Does buying food matter? Yes — buying food matters later.
The individual snack you choose does not currently have a confirmed separate major route.
Buying food matters later. Between the individual snacks there is no major route difference in the current build.
| Choice | Later impact |
|---|---|
| Buy food | Yes — later scenes can change |
| Don’t buy food | Different later scenes |
| Popcorn | No separate route effect found |
| Sweet popcorn | No separate route effect found |
| Candy apple | No separate route effect found |
| Hot dog | No separate route effect found |
Which food should I choose?
No separate major route difference is currently confirmed between the individual snack options.
07 — Day 1 Circus
This is not the Day 2 tent exploration section.
The Pink, Purple, and Green tent choices here do not replace the later Blue / Cyan / Purple progression on Day 2.
You have reached the final major section of Day 1. The tent choice here belongs to Day 1 — Blue, Cyan, Purple, and Black Tent progression on Day 2 is a separate sequence.
Choosing where to go at the Circus
No confirmed major effect
These tents do not replace the later Day 2 tent sequence.
